I’d like to begin this letter by saying what a genuine pleasure it has been working with our insurance Broker at The Daniel & Henry Co. over this past year. One note could not sum up the ease of mind, solutions offered, and world of opportunities, you’ve brought to our company.
J. Williams Heating & Cooling has been in business for 34 years. The majority of our years in operation were spent functioning solely as a residential HVAC contractor. While the past two years have brought about change in the economy, it’s also dramatically altered our company’s range of business. We recently took the big leap into Commercial Mechanical work. This required an increase in man power, equipment & materials, cash flow, banking capacity, and last but no least – insurance/bonding capabilities.
We had no idea how large of an undertaking that last item was going to be. New to the world of large Construction, the stringent demands and protocol to get a performance bond seemed to be a next to impossible feat. However, impossible is not a word in this company’s vocabulary.
Our previous insurance company helped us in every way they possibly could. But when it came to getting a bond line, things just weren’t happening. As a family owned and operated business, J. Williams Heating & Cooling believes in loyalty and sticking things out with our team, anyone that enters our business “family”. We battled leaving the smaller Insurance firm behind, but in order to grow, we were confident that the switch over to The Daniel & Henry Co. was the answer we were seeking.
Sure enough, our Broker, Mark Johnson, went at this thing full speed ahead. With the assistance of Daniel & Henry’s fully-functioning support team, they’ve walked us through every obstacle to stand in our way. Namely, Trudy Whitrock has been a personal angel, marketing our company to various sureties nationwide to get us the bonds we require in this competitive industry. She’s stopped at nothing to get us what we need with terms we can handle.
Honestly, if it weren’t for the compassion, drive, and determination of the people that make up Daniel & Henry, I don’t know where we’d be. Thanks again for being a huge piece of the bridge to J. Williams Heating & Cooling Co.’s growth.
